OF THE MEMBERSHIP PROCEDURE AND OBLIGATION OF MEMBERS

Article 6 :

With the exception of the founding members, any other geologist, regardless of gender, wishing to become a full member of INEX/ASBL is subject to the following procedure:

1. Send a written request to the President of the Board of Directors;
2. Attach to the application a curriculum vitae and two letters of sponsorship from full members ;
3. The letter of application for membership must include a firm commitment to abide by the Statutes and By-Laws of the Association.

Application for Honorary Membership

They are political actors, activists, philanthropists, sportsmen, artists, but above all, they are well-known. And what do they have in common? They have all chosen to use their popularity to promote scientific research in the Democratic Republic of Congo. They have therefore been appointed ambassadors (honorary members according to our statutes) of the Initiative for Geological Exploration of Congo (INEX). These celebrities choose to support the cause for which the association fights and to go further by representing it.

An ambassador is a person who shares the same values as the association, who believes in its actions and helps to raise its voice in the country and in the diaspora, even internationally. Whether at an event, on social networks or in the media, an ambassador carries the voice of the association he or she represents.
